Our Movie Trailer Officially Released
We are so happy to announce that the movie based on our story, Peace by Chocolate - The Film is coming to theatres, exclusively at Cineplex across Canada on May 6th and the official trailer of the movie was finally released.

We have concluded our chocolate making and shipping for the holiday season. All orders from before Dec. 20th are on route or are in final production for shipping shortly. No more orders will be processed in 2021.
Festival of Trees
The friendship we have found with the Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia makes nights like their Festival of Tree’s so rewarding and fun.
Tree of Peace
We are happy to be part of the Halifax Forest of Trees in support of Mental Health NS. As strong advocates of the importance of mental health awareness and support, we were honored to create a tree of our own and to be part of this wonderful and beautiful event. This and all the other stunning trees that have been donated will all be up for auction to raise funds to support Mental Health NS. Please come by The Doyle at 1511 Queen St, Halifax between November 20th-27th and show your support! Coming by to see the trees helps to raise mental health awareness so all are welcome!
A huge thank you goes out to Pam Tower and Nicole Leblanc of Tower Interiors for bringing our Peace Tree to life! Building up a Christmas Tree, much like mental health, is easier with friends by your side!

All the Hadhads of Peace by Chocolate are now OFFICIALLY proudly Canadians!
This means that now all the Hadhad family members have been sworn in as Canadian citizens including Isameddin, Shahnaz, Alaa, Tareq, Batoul, Ahmad, Taghrid, Omar, and Sana.
Since immigrating to Canada in 2016 our family has worked every day to build our dream of spreading peace through our chocolate and we are honoured to be part of this wonderful country, members of a supportive community, and now, fellow Canadians! This is a nation of peace, respect, fairness, inclusion, democracy, diversity, compassion, kindness, politeness and empathy. What an incredible journey for our story: From Syria to Canada to the world.
The "Peace by Chocolate" film will have its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival in June.
From Variety:
"Uplifting refugee drama “Peace by Chocolate,” which marks the last film starring late great Syrian actor and director Hatem Ali, is set to world premiere at the upcoming Tribeca Film Festival.
UTA Independent Film Group will be handling world sales on the English-language pic, which is directed by Canadian first-timer Jonathan Keijser and will bow as part of the fest’s online Tribeca at Home presentations announced today.
“Peace by Chocolate” is based on the true story of Tareq Hadhad who fled from war-torn Syria with his family and founded a now booming chocolate business in Canada called Peace by Chocolate."
