Shipping with Cooling Containers
We kindly ask our customers to strongly consider shipping their orders with insulated foam containers especially throughout the summer months. This is also highly recommended for international orders.
Coupon Codes
One coupon or discount code can be used per transaction. Coupons can not be stacked or used during promotional periods. Coupons can not be used after a purchase has been completed. Online discount codes can not be used in retail stores or by wholesale customers.

Q: How can I obtain product ingredient information?
All of our ingredient information is available on the product pages on our website, but you can call 902 867 0201 or email support@peacebychocolate.ca any time for clarification!

Q:What percentage of cocoa is your Dark Chocolate?
Our dark chocolate all contains 60% cocoa solids
Q: Does Peace by Chocolate have nut-free chocolates?

Q: Does Peace by Chocolate have low-carb or sugar-free chocolates?
Unfortunately, this is not a product that is available through Peace by Chocolate. Make sure you are signed up for our newsletters to stay on top of any new product offerings!

General Inquiries
Q: How do I determine the best before date of my chocolate?
Each Peace by Chocolate product has a lot number placed on it at the time of production with the best before date on the sticker. This lot number indicates the date the chocolate was produced. Peace by Chocolate is best eaten within 12-18 months of production to maintain freshness and quality.
Q: What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa, Visa Debit, Mastercard, Mastercard Debit, and AmEx online, as well as Paypal and Apple Pay options at checkout.
Q: Do you have email newsletters? How do I sign up?
We sure do. You can sign up using the box at the bottom of any page on our website!
Shipping & Delivery
Q: Where do your chocolates ship from?
Our chocolates ship from Antigonish, Nova Scotia. This is where it all started in Canada for our family and we're proud to call it home.
Q: Where does Peace by Chocolate ship to?
We ship everywhere in Canada and the USA, and around the world!
Q: When will I get my order?
Our orders ship within 5-7 business days but may be faster depending on the current volume of orders. Tracking information will be sent to confirm the timeline of delivery with our courier services.
Q: How do I track my order?
As soon as your order ships, you will receive an automated email with tracking information. You can use this information to track by Canada Post, and the same numbers can be used with USPS for shipments that cross the border into the USA!
Q: How do I change or cancel my order?
To make any changes to your order, please call us at 902 867 0201, or email us at support@peacebychocolate.ca.
Q: Can I ship to more than one person on one order?
Yes you can! On the My Cart page of the website is an option to request multiple shipping addresses. Please be aware that Free Shipping over $99 does only apply if the value to each address is over $99 (in Canada).

Q: Why is my PO Box delivery being charged $7 for shipping even if my order qualifies for Free Shipping?
Free shipping only applies to non PO Box deliveries because we are charged extra by Canada Post for that delivery that exceeds our ability to send the PO order with free shipping. We are working with Canada Post on new rates soon, and we will keep this up to date. Thank you for your understanding. You may have orders shipped to a residential address to alleviate the $7 surcharge.
Q: Can you hold my order for a future date?
To hold an order, please call us at 902 867 0201, or email us at support@peacebychocolate.ca.
Q: Can I return my order?
If an order arrives damaged, or does not match your order specifications, please let us know within 1 week of receipt, and we will issue a refund or send you any missing product. We do not accept returns and all product are final sale.
Q: How much is shipping in Canada?
We have four different shipping options!
1) Standard Shipping ($10, across Canada)
2) Standard Shipping + Chilled Container ($17.5 across Canada)
3) Express Saver Shipping ($22.5 across Canada)
4) Express Saver Shipping + Chilled Container ($32 across Canada)
Q: How much is United States shipping?
Free shipping is available on United States orders exceeding $125.
Standard U.S Shipping is $25
Express shipping is offered as well (calculated at checkout)

General Information
Q: What is the best way to store Peace by Chocolate after I receive my order?
Our chocolate keeps best between 14-18°C, so storing in a cool, dry cupboard out of direct sunlight is perfect!
Q: I’d like to sell Peace by Chocolate in my store. How do I get started?
Please email support@peacebychocolate.ca or give us a call at 902 867 0201 to become a wholesale vendor!
Our wholesale vendor website is www.peacebychocolatevendor.ca and you can sign up to be a vendor there as well!
Q: Can I take a tour of your Factory?
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer public tours of our factory at this time, but you are welcome to visit our store in Antigonish, located at 344 Main Street!
Q: What is the cutoff date for orders to be delivered before Christmas?
Orders placed AFTER December 14th, are not guaranteed for delivery before Christmas outside of Atlantic Canada. Within Atlantic Canada orders can be placed up to December 18th.
Please note that we cannot be held responsible for delivery delays, mailing address errors on the part of the customer, redirected packages due to an address error or delays caused by weather conditions, even if your order was placed before or on December 14, 2021. All orders are delivered with the fastest available courier service or Expedited parcel via Canada Post.
