Returns & Refunds Policy

At Peace by Chocolate, we take great pride in the quality of our products and the care with
which they are packed. Because our products are perishable, please review our policy
regarding returns, replacements, and claims below.

1. Non-Refundable Scenarios
We do not offer refunds or replacements for issues outside of our direct control, including:
● Weather Damage: Melting caused by ambient temperatures during transit or after
delivery.
● Carrier & Customs Delays: Shipping fees are non-refundable in the event of courier or
customs delays.
● Address Errors: Packages undeliverable due to incorrect addresses, missing
unit/apartment numbers, or unavailable receivers.
● Returned to Sender (RTS): Original shipping fees are forfeited; reshipping requires a
new shipping payment.

2. Valid Damage & Order Discrepancy Claims
If your package is physically crushed due to a packaging error, or if there is an order
discrepancy (the items received do not match your order specifications), please contact
support@peacebychocolate.ca within 24 hours of delivery.
Claim Requirements
To process your claim, you must provide:
● Order Number
● Photos of the product received
● Photos of the external shipping box
● A photo of the packing slip
Important: Claims submitted without these four pieces of evidence or outside the
24-hour window will be denied.

3. Return & Refund Eligibility
Due to food safety regulations, we have strict limitations on returns:
● Order Discrepancies: Returns are only accepted if the items received were shipped in
error and do not match your original order. In these instances, the product must be
returned within 1 week of receipt for a full refund.

● Damaged Items: For items confirmed as damaged via the claim process above, we will
work with you on a resolution. Please note that physical returns are generally not
required for damage claims, provided the 24-hour evidence is submitted.
