PBC CEO Honoured with “Legacy in the Making” Award

Last week, our founder and CEO, Tareq Hadhad, was recognized with a Legacy in the Making Award at the Nova Scotia Business Hall of Fame. This is an incredible honour that celebrates the spirit of entrepreneurship and positive impact in our province.

As Tareq shared during the event, “The values that we stand for by being the nation of freedom and opportunity are the reason why we had the big chance to succeed.”

This award represents the resilience of newcomers and the heartfelt belief that peace can begin with something as small as a piece of chocolate. It is a tribute to everyone who has supported Peace by Chocolate since our first small factory opened its doors in Antigonish.

We are very thankful to JA Nova Scotia for this honour, and we extend our congratulations to all of this year’s incredible recipients and inductees who continue to shape the future of business and community leadership in Nova Scotia and all of Canada.
