Celebrating Our Peace Community This Giving Tuesday
Since 2012, Giving Tuesday has expanded into worldwide movement that has activated millions of generous people to do good.
As a family, we felt immediate kindness and generosity when we came to Canada, in our home community of Antigonish, from across Nova Scotia and through out the country. The way we were welcomed will stay in our hearts and minds forever.
We have always believed it is our duty to return the generosity we felt in 2015 and 2016. This belief led us to start the Peace on Earth Society (POES) to support peace-building and life-saving causes across the globe.
You may not know this but by being a supporter of Peace by Chocolate, and in turn the Society, you’ve helped enable a more peaceful world for all.
Since 2018, the Peace on Earth Society has donated funds to projects that actively help build a more peaceful world. Up to 5% of company returns from Peace By Chocolate are donated to the Society each year.
Who the Society Supports
The Society makes an impact through collaborations with organizations like the Canadian Mental Health Association or the Dallaire Institute. Partners like the Canadian Red Cross work with us to raise needed funds for interventions like Pakistan flooding relief.

The Peace by Chocolate community of peace makers and builders around the globe have allowed us to raise and donate so much to causes we all believe in.

50 cents from every S.A.F.E. Bar goes to Syrian Antigonish Families Embrace, S.A.F.E, the very folks who sponsored the Hadhad family and many more to find peace in Antigonish, Nova Scotia since 2015.
