CBC: Peace by Chocolate pledges to hire 50 refugees, mentor 10 refugee startups
Our family arrived 3 years ago in Canada as refugees after losing everything in the war in Syria.
So many hands supported us and set us up for success so we decided that it's our turn to give back to our communities but also give hands to those coming newly to Canada
.
We joined the Canadian Business Summit in Toronto organized by Tent Partnership for Refugees and we proudly announced the following:
Peace by Chocolate will hire 50 refugees by 2022 at its facilities across Canada. In addition, we will provide mentorship and guidance to 10 refugee startups to develop their business and help 4 refugee businesses access new markets through our distribution and retailing networks
